Christmas 2009

All around ultra State of the Art light, video and laser show!
Our long history of introducing "new" technologies and ideas for use in a Christmas display is continuing. While we have had video projection as a part of our display for five years and three years ago we introduced video that is synchronous with the computerized lights. We have expanded on the concept and introducing synchronous video that doesn't just project a TV style image but projects across the roof and face of the house. This allows us special effects that mixes with the lights on the house.
As far as we know we continue to be the only display in the world to use Guerilla Projection techniques on a Christmas display and it is a show stopper. To use Guerilla Projection, it is incredibly complicated and difficult to implement because objects in the video must be precision placed to display specifically on certain areas. This may include scrolling words on the roof and other effects.
The Guerilla Projection offers so much eye candy it sometimes will "steal the show" away from the lights, so some songs like our new "Psychedelic Christmas" have the lights programmed differently to compliment the video projection, rather then compete with it. The end result is a "must see" and its guaranteed to please!

Experiment in Video (From 2007)
This year was the year we finally realize a dream that started in 2001 when we began the great search for a way for video and audio to be synchronous with the lights and part of the show.
Not every Christmas song we prefer to use has MTV Music videos available for them. So we had to make several of our own from scratch, and also a couple that others made who we asked permission to use their http://www.youtube.com video.
Rough draft video of a custom made music video that will play on the wall synchronously with the light show.
This video with the late child actor, Jason Ortiz, will be played for our lighted presentation of Donde Esta Santa Claus. Jason's father was thrilled to hear we wanted to play this video in our display. Jason was not the original artist of the song but did lip sync to the song a couple years ago.
